Cindu Thomas- George is a cultivator of inclusion and a disrupter of injustice. For the last twenty years she has designed and led professional development experiences that promote inclusion, equity, intercultural intelligence, and antiracism. Cindu is also an award winning tenured professor of Communication Studies at the College of Lake County specializing in Intercultural Communication and Public Speaking and is currently partnering with Northwestern University’s Kellogg School for Nonprofit Management, teaching and coaching on the topic of inclusive leadership. Cindu is a recognized public speaker and a member of the Comadres Speakers Collaborative. Her passion and commitment for cultivating inclusion extends beyond her career. Cindu is a co-founder of the Chicago Women’s Leadership Accelerator, a leadership development conference dedicated to increasing representation of women in leadership roles. and the founder of the South Asian Solidarity Movement.

Earn an Inclusive Leadership Certification 

Shakti Training's Inclusive Leadership Academy (ILA) is a workshop series crafted to develop inclusive leaders within organizations. ILA graduates earn a CEU certification, acknowledging their DEI competency and commitment to fostering inclusion and organizational change. Shakti clients across various industries have been able to use The Inclusive Leadership Academy’s CEU”s to maintain required professional memberships, certification or licensing.
